Based in northern British Columbia, West Coast Badger Products is the brainchild of local fisher, grandfather, and tradesman Bob. Having frustrations with the lack of freedom when it came to his time on the water he began to develop his own steering system. He made it both simple and intuitive so that he and his family could use it. However, after developing his "Fishing Buddy" he thought that maybe other fishers would be interested in his economical alternative to otherwise expensive equipment.
